Firefox 3 will be released on June 17, 2008

Mozilla has confirmed that they will be releasing Firefox 3 on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. From their website,
After more than 34 months of active development, and with the contributions of thousands, we’re proud to announce that we’re ready. It is our expectation to ship Firefox 3 this upcoming Tuesday, June 17th. Put on your party hats and get ready to download Firefox 3 — the best web browser, period.
Well, I have been testing Firefox Beta and Release candidates (RC1 and RC2), and I must say, it is way better than Firefox 2! The memory leaks seem to have been plugged, and the overall look and feel of the browser seems to have been made much better. And, of course, the Awesome Bar really lives up to its name! Waiting eagerly for Download Day!
